Our Project Development Approach

From Development Opportunity to Investment Readiness

A Structured Approach to Infrastructure Development

SAIDCH follows a structured project development pathway designed to help transform infrastructure and economic development opportunities into projects that can be properly assessed, prepared and potentially advanced towards investment and implementation.

Our approach brings together development priorities, technical information, commercial considerations, potential funding structures and strategic partnerships.

The Six-Stage Development Pathway

1. IDENTIFY

Understanding Development Needs and Opportunities

Understand the country’s development needs, existing assets and economic priorities. Identify opportunities that align with infrastructure requirements and broader economic objectives.

2. VALIDATE

Assessing the Opportunity

Assess project demand, scope, available technical information, economic value and outstanding feasibility requirements. Identify the information and further work needed to evaluate the opportunity.

3. STRUCTURE

Establishing Commercial and Financial Viability

Examine potential revenues, costs, project risks, funding models and suitable delivery options, including Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) where appropriate.

4. PREPARE

Developing the Project and Investment Case

Develop the project documentation and financial case required for more detailed assessment and engagement with potential investment partners.

5. ENGAGE

Connecting with Investors and Technical Partners

Present appropriately prepared opportunities to potential investors and technical partners for further engagement, assessment and due diligence.

6. IMPLEMENT & MONITOR

Supporting Delivery and Accountability

Support project delivery through coordination, governance, progress monitoring and performance tracking.

A Disciplined, Project-Specific Process

Every opportunity is different. The level of assessment, preparation and engagement required will depend on the project’s maturity, available information, technical requirements, commercial viability and relevant approvals.

SAIDCH’s approach is intended to establish a clear development pathway while supporting responsible project advancement.
